Answer engine optimization (AEO) is the practice of making useful, trustworthy information easy to find and understand when people ask questions through search engines and AI tools.
Be useful at the moment of the question.
People ask detailed questions before choosing a service: what does it include, when is it appropriate, what affects the cost, and how do the alternatives compare? Strong answer content resolves these questions with specific explanations and a clear path to the relevant service.
We build AEO around the same foundations that support search visibility: accessible pages, accurate business information, original expertise, and useful internal links. There is no special markup that guarantees inclusion in an AI answer.
Our AEO workstream
- Question research: map the questions customers ask during discovery, evaluation, and selection.
- Answer design: give a direct answer, then add the context, examples, caveats, and evidence needed to make it useful.
- Entity clarity: explain who provides the service, what is offered, and how readers can verify the business.
- Structured data: use supported markup that accurately reflects visible content.
- Content maintenance: review sources and update changed information instead of publishing answers once and leaving them untouched.
Evidence matters more than confident wording.
Specific examples, documented methods, real product details, and named sources help readers evaluate a claim. We distinguish practical recommendations from verified facts and avoid fabricated statistics, invented client stories, and unsupported “best agency” claims.
Google states that its existing SEO practices remain relevant to AI features and that no special schema is required. Read Google’s AI features guidance and our SEO vs. AEO comparison.
Measure outcomes with appropriate limits.
We look at discoverability, relevant landing-page engagement, available referral data, and inquiry quality. A manual sample of AI answers can provide context, but it is not a universal visibility score: answers change by query, product, model, and time. No agency can guarantee an AI citation.
