The first 90 days should establish a baseline, resolve the most important obstacles, improve priority content, and create a repeatable review process. It is a work plan, not a promise of results by a fixed date.
Days 1–30: understand and prioritize.
Clarify your audience, services, geography, and what makes an inquiry useful. Inventory important pages, review available search data, and test the contact journey. Identify technical access issues and inconsistencies in business information.
The output should be a baseline, a focused list of opportunities, and a plan that names the owner and verification method for each change. Do not assume every audit recommendation needs to be implemented at once.
Days 31–60: improve the foundations.
Address agreed access problems and update priority service pages. Add missing information that helps customers make decisions. Correct business details where necessary and connect related pages with descriptive links. For a redesign, verify redirects and important routes before expanding the content library.
Keep a change log. A clear record helps distinguish implementation problems from normal variation later.
Days 61–90: learn and refine.
Review crawling and indexing patterns, relevant searches, landing-page performance, and the quality of inquiries. Expand content only where the earlier work reveals a specific information gap. Check whether the business can maintain the new pages and respond to the demand it receives.
Adjust for your starting point.
A brand-new domain, a large ecommerce catalog, and an established local service business need different sequences. Access limitations, development capacity, and subject-matter review can affect delivery. Search response also varies by competition and the site’s existing position.
What a good review sounds like
“We improved these pages, verified these technical changes, and observed these patterns. This is what remains uncertain, and this is the next useful action.” That is more informative than a guaranteed ranking deadline.
